
The one in which anything and everything happens, just one ridiculous plot bunny after another. Even so, I am a card carrying Outlander fan, so I take it for the fun ride that it is.
This is a reread for me in anticipation of book 8 release coming soon. As such, I have become much more familiar with [a:Diana Gabaldon|3617|Diana Gabaldon|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1213918339p2/3617.jpg]'s writing and more readily notice her signature writing moves. So much so, I thought of
the Emma Sea inspired Mary Calmes drinking game and contemplated one for this series. You know, take a drink when:
• Claire describes the various shades of red in Jamie's hair
• Claire describes the smell of something using no fewer than three unique things
• One corner of Jaime's mouth starts to curl
• Jaime almost diesThe problem is, these books are so long that a fun drinking game would degenerate into a complete bender, and well, I wouldn't want to promote that sort of thing.
