3+ for this funny book. It is no epic story, and despite the what you might think from the cover and title, it is not all sex. Fun with Dick and Shane is a day-in-the-life peek into a threesome relationship in which each member has a distinct role and there are rules governing what you can and cannot do. Not your garden variety relationship, and not one that many could handle. The book is written in blog fashion from the Gilli's point of view. Gilli is the junior partner in the relationship and naturally he has many insecurities about his position. Geez, who wouldn't? Gilli's MO when he is feeling insecure is to act out, and he is always getting in the kind of trouble that leaves his bottom red. If you have a spank kink, this will be a 5-star read for you. What keeps me reading this series is my fascination with this power exchange dynamic. That, and the great one liners that also keep me laughing. It was the Pinky & the Brain reference won my heart and made me fan.
