Damn you Tiffany Reisz. I should have loved this book best of all with the relationship between Soren and Kingsley rekindled. While I thoroughly enjoyed alpha-dom-priest topping sexy-switch-underground-lord, there were many parts of the story that just did not work for me. Everything was just too too too extreme. Does every character have to be wealthy? Are all the subs in the underground respectable pillars of the community? Does Nora have be a horse whisperer in addition to her other many talents? I know I should just accept it for the soap opera that it is, and for the most part I do. So forgive me if I bitch a bit about shelling out for the next installment only because Ms. Reisz left me hanging on the cliff.
